Still typing with one hand, but here we go. Hand still hurts like hell.

The question this week is which is better – Kindle or Nook?

Found that my youngest son has the Nook.

How you may ask?  I saw him reading from something in a Facebook picture.

So, I asked him about it.

He brought it over and went through it like he was a salesman for B&N.

The only drawback I can see with the Nook is its screen is dark and I found it a little hard to read unless you make the font a lot larger.

So, I am asking you all, which is better – Kindle or Nook?

Post a comment and let us know what you think of each one.

Have great week.

Stitches taken out today and replaced with tape glued down. Pain is still horrible and the pills don't help.

Can't type very well with one hand, seem to make a lot of mistakes.

Sure will be glad when the pain goes away and this pin is out of  the hand.

Funny, Doctor today says on November 1 to start spinning the pin around so it will get loose and come out easier.

Sure we'll play spin the pin instead of spin the bottle.

That should be fun!

I will let you know just how fast we can spin it when the time comes to start spinning, as it won't spin right now.

See ya later down the Blog.

Hi everyone, it has been a week since the surgery and the hand is in severe pain.

They took out a bone and stripped a tendon down my arm to build a new joint cushion.

Eight weeks to heal. So, typing is really hard. Making too many mistakes and having to do corrections is horrible.

Hopefuly, as the pain decides to give up, I will be able to use the fingers on  the right hand again and be able to type a better blog entry.

Keep writing, and I will type at you later.

No writing this week as most of my time has been taken up grading essays. Still have 60 to go for this quarter.

Wednesday, I go in to have my hand operated on, so writing will not be on the top of the agenda this week, too.

You don't necessary have to write to be working on a story. There are times that you need to work out in your mind what it is the story wants you do. Where are the characters in their lives? Do they want to go somewhere you weren't expecting?

Usually, I am thinking almost all the time about where I want that story to go, but as we all know, the characters can make you change your plans by simply telling you that they want to do this instead of that.

Hopefully, next week I will have something else to write about, even though I will be typing with one hand only. I should be able to post here letting you know how it goes with only having one hand to do everything.

Have great week.
