I can't believe that June is almost over already. These past two weeks have really flown by fast.

We now have the shower in and working.  Found out that 12 sq feet of the floor under the old one was rotted out and had to be replaced, that was a little more than I thought would need to be repaired.

I have about half of the ceiling done with the tongue and groove paneling. We also installed the new light today.

I still have not figured out what to do with the walls yet.  One says paint, one says paneling of some sort. Of course, I said it is unique. Let's leave it as it is.

No one thought was a good idea. Of course, they knew I was kidding.

Then it will be the floor and how to cover it. Linoleum has been mentioned and probably is the easy way of going.

I will be happy to get this room finished and have some time to work on the novel and use my Amateur Radio. Of course, then we will most likely start with the next project. We have a window that needs replaced, not just the glass, but the whole window.

Okay it is your turn, please leave a message below telling us all what you are up to this summer.  We would love to hear from some of you.

Don't be bashful; tell us what is keeping you active.

Back to work.

Until next time.

Well, the last three feet of the ceiling nearly killed me. My chronic back problem decided it was time to teach me again that it rules my life, I don't. These last two days have been very painful just to move, good thing the VA gave me a new cane last time I was there. And I didn't even ask for it. So, no work on the room for the next few days. Didn't even try to climb the stairs, just been sitting around.
