I have been reading a lot of books lately on writing, of course, and I ran into a new newsletter that looks promising. The only thing you have to watch out for is in his latest ones he gives spoilers on Hunger Games as he goes through it discussing various techniques.

I haven't had much time to write this week as we are building a new gate in order to try to keep the dog from going on his run around the block. He thinks he needs to get out every once in awhile to see what is new in the neighborhood. He doesn't go far, but it usually takes ten minutes or so to get him back in the yard. This last time he came in and went and hit the old gate again and popped the lock off, and out again for a short run back down to the driveway.

How has your week been?  Leave a message down below telling what is going on in your life. We really would like to read about it.

All in the Family Cruise sold another copy in the UK this past week.  Of course She Rises at Dawn was the big seller last quarter. I should get a pretty good check from that quarter.

Okay one last time, leave us a message and let us know what is going on in your

How is your summer going? Mine is starting slow as the energy level just isn’t back up to par yet.

I am thinking of taking the short stories and putting them altogether in one book and adding in the story for the video game to it. Not sure if there is another short story available to add in with them or not, will have to search the computer. But, then they would be in one book instead of four or five different ones.

One eBook you need to read is Nail your Novel by Roz Morris. It is outstanding and will help you to create a better manuscript. The entire title is Nail Your Novel: Why Writers Abandon Books and How You Can Draft, Fix and Finish With Confidence

You can get it here in paperback or kindle version:

You should also visit Roz’s Nail Your Novel website to read all her wonderful insight on writing and other topics.

Roz is a great author and teacher of writing. I can’t remember exactly how we met, but we keep in touch usually on twitter. She is a great person to know and learn from.

What about you?  Where are you in your writing career?  Does anyone have a book coming out soon?

Do you have a book you would like to talk about, let me know and we can feature you on the blog here.

Feel free to to leave a message down in the comment section or email me at, if you want to talk about writing or your book.

As I mentioned last time, we always plan a vacation, but seldom take it. This year is no different. We spent some of the money saved for a trip on a loveseat. It looks like we will be staying here after all.

Until next time,

PS: My wife’s birthday is tomorrow. Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
