Summer is trying to hang on these next few days, bringing us 90+ degree days. That is fine with me as I hate winter. I am still trying to heal from the three broken ribs. The latest CT scan shows them still broke. It has been since March.

Of course, there were other things that showed up on the scan that I am not happy about. But for now, life goes on.

Back in February 2023, the talk started about AI writing. I decided to check it out and went to Copy Creator and asked about: "How do you write a crime novel?" Below is  what it came up with. Needless to say, it is not all that good.

“The best thing about writing a crime novel is that there are no rules. You can make up your own crimes and your own characters, and there's no right or wrong way to do it. There are countless ways to write a crime novel, and that's what makes it so much fun.

If you're looking to write a crime novel, the best place to start is by coming up with a good story. What's the crime, who committed it, and why? What are the consequences of the crime? These are all important questions to answer before you write.

Once you have a good story, the next step is to create interesting and believable characters. Your readers need to relate to your characters, even if they're criminals. Give your characters flaws and weaknesses, and make them believable.

The last step is to write the story. This is where your creativity really comes into play. There are no limits to what you can do, so let your imagination run wild. Write the story that you want to write and don't worry about following any specific rules.

Writing a crime novel can be a lot of fun. It's a great way to let your imagination run wild, and there are no rules to follow. So, get started today and see where your story takes you.”

What are your feelings about AI writing stories? Do you think the market will be flooded with this type of writing?

Leave a message down below and tell us your opinion. No personal information is kept from what is asked of you to reply.

I will attend the Beyond the Books Festival again this year at the Starke County Library in Knox, IN. The date is September 7th.
